Patna : Krishna Prasad, 55, a transporter, committed suicide at 9 am on June 30, 2018, at his office in Pahalwan market under Deedarganj police station, Patna, by shooting himself dead with an unlicensed pistol. Krishna Prasad was son of Indradev Sahu and a resident of Mata Khudi Lane, Sultanganj, Patna. Krishna had a one room office at Pahalwan market.
Krishna, a widower, is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters. His wife had died a natural death in 2008. One of his sons, in a statement to police, said that his father perhaps committed suicide due to family and business issues. Krishna’s children lived separately. One of his son and a daughter are married, said SHO, Deedarganj police station.
