Trader shot dead, wife seriously injured at Patna

Patna : One Akhilesh Prasad, around 50, of Saraswatichak area under Mehndiganj police station in Patna district was shot dead and his wife seriously injured at 8.30 pm allegedly by a close relative Vikas, 25, a land broker, when they going to Kamaldah area under Bypass police station, Patna, on September 25, in a property dispute.

Police conducted raid at Vikas’s Kumhrar residence but he was not found there, said SHO Bypass police station. Vikas fired on the couple killing Akhilesh on the spot and seriously injuring his wife, the said adding police were conducting raids to arrest Vikas. He said that Akhilesh was also into some business.
