Bettiah : Sanjay alias Laddu Kumar, 35, proprietor of Baibhav Hardware Traders of Kalibag locality under Kalibag Police Outpos, Bettiah Town, in West Champaran District in North Bihar was gunned down by three motorbike borne criminals in broad daylight around 12.30 pm on September 14, 2019.
Sources said that the criminals called the trader to come out from his shop and shot him dead by firing three bullets at him and escaped brandishing their firearms. Police sources said that land dispute appears to be reason behind the killing of Sanjay alias Laddu Kumar.
SDPO, Bettiah, Pankaj Rawat, along with a police team reached the spot soon after information and inquired about the incident. The SDPO said that land dispute was said to be reason behind the murder. The body of the trader was sent to MJK Hospital, Bettiah, for autopsy. Police are investigating into the incident.
