Ara : Some miscreants shot at and injured a businessman Sugriv Singh, 50, near village Harigaon on Ara-Mohania main road under Jagdishpur police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on June 17, 2021, morning. Sugriv Singh is a native of village Bankat under Ayar police station in Bhojpur District and runs a shoes and cloth shops at Harigaon. Old enmity is said to be the reason behind the incident.
The injured was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in view of his critical condition. An FIR was lodged with police in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
SHO, Jagdishpur PS, said that Sugriv Singh was going to his residence on his motorcycle ob June 17, 2021, morning, when some motorcycle borne armed miscreants came and shot at and injured him and escaped.o Dr Arun Kumar at Ara Sadar Hospital said that the bullet had hit the right side of Sugriv’s back .and he was referred to PMCH after first aid.
