Ara : A tractor driver Guddu Musahar fell from his speeding tractor and crushed to death under the wheel of the tractor on April 3, 2017, when he lost control over steering of the tractor loaded with stonechips on Manikpur-Bagmajhaua main road near Koelwar under the same police station in Bhojpur district.
Irate villagers blocked Ara-Patna main road with the body of the deceased paralysing traffic. They also beat up and injured over two dozen innocent people who tried to pass through the road. Police tried to remove blockade and bring the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post- mortem but the villagers did not allow them to lift the body. They were demanding a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family of the deceased. Road blockade was continuing till the filling of this report.
