Ara : Three persons including a woman died in accident at different places in Bhojpur District on September 25, 2019.
Rama Shankar Ram,40, of Semaro village under Charpokhari police station was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle on between Nagari and Nagrao villages in Bhojpur district on September 25. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. SHO, Charpokhari police station, said that Rama Shankar Ram was going somewhere when a speeding vehicle knocked him down Nagari and Nagrao villages on Ara-Sasaram State Highway and escaped.
In another incident, a speeding truck crushed to death Sahili Devi, 45, near Jhalkunagar under Koelwar police station on September 25. She was a resident of village Hari under Koelwar police station. Irate villagers blocked Ara-Patna main road with the body near Rajapur for about two hours paralysing the movement of vehicles. They burnt tyres on road and raised slogans against the district administration. They were demanding arrest of the truck driver and compensation to the family of the deceased. The blockade was lifted after positive response from police officials. Later, police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
In yet another incident, an RPF personnel Malkhan Singh, 35, of Bihia Chaurasta under Bihia police station was killed on the spot when his motorcycle collided with a tree on September 25. He was posted at Danapur in Patna district.
