Muzaffarpur : Three persons including a woman died on December 30, 2017, due to the cold severe wave sweeping Muzaffarpur district for the past few days. Two persons died under Motipur block while one died under Sahebganj block. The cold wave has claimed five lives in the district during past four days.
City Commissioner, Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation (MMC), Rang Nath Chaudhary, on December 30 ordered for providing bonfire at different points falling under the Corporation. Bonfire has been provided at twenty places under the MMC so far as the district is reeling under the cold wave.
