Dhanbad ( Jharkhand) : Three more youth having criminal background have been arrested on in connection with killing of Congress leader and former Dhanbad deputy mayor Niraj Singh and three others on March 21, 2017. They were shot dead at Dhanbad Steel gate. The arrest was made on March 29 night.
The three arrested persons were identified as Prashant Singh, Monu Singh and Ashok Mahto and police recovered one imported 9 mm pistol from their possession. Dhanbad SSP Ratan Mohan Chouthey said that till date six persons had been arrested in this murder case including Jainendra Singh, Sanjay Singh and Dhananjay Singh. Most of those arrested in this case are stated to be very close to Jharia BJP MLA Sanjiv Singh.
