Ara : Two youth were killed while two others seriously injured when a speeding bus collided head-on with their motorcycle near village Ishardi under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district around 10am on March 31, 2017, on Mohania-Ara main road on NH30.
SDO, Jagdishpur, Bal Mukund, said that four youth were going to Bihata in Patna district to their Aunt (Bua) from village Narayanpur under Jagdishpur police station on a motorcycle. When they reached near Ishardi under Jagdishpur police station on NH 30 on Mohania-Ara main road, a speeding bus collided head-on with the motorcycle in which two youth: Jitendra Nat, 25, son of Nand Nat, and Sanjay Nat, 20, were killed on the spot while two others Deepu Nat, 25, son of Sohan Nat, and Amitabh Bachchan Nat, 22, son of Mohan Nat, were seriously injured. After the collision, the bus dashed against a tree on the roadside. Later, police brought the bodies to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. Police also seized the bus though the bus driver escaped from the scene.
