Muzaffarpur :  Three persons were killed  and three others sustained injuries on June 17, 2021, morning, when a speeding car they were travelling by from Saraiya  village to Dharfari  village  in Muzaffarpur District  in North Bihar fell in to swollen Baya river  after breaking the railing  of a road bridge  on  Jaitpur-Saraiya road near  Saraiya Bazaar under the same police station.

According to police sources, the six occupants of the car  had  gone to Saraiya in a Baraat  from village Dharfari and they were returning after dinner in the wee hours on June 17, 2021, when the car rammed the railing of the road bridge and fell into the river. The locals rescued three persons from the car from the river but three others had  died on the spot . Saraiya police sent bodies to SKMCH, Muzaffarpur,  for autopsy. The injured were also admitted to SKMCH.
