Three girls drown in ditch at Katihar village

Katihar : Bodies of three minor girls were fished out from a water filled ditch at village Kutubpur under Manihari police station in Katihar district on May 20, 2018, morning. It appears that the three girls, two siblings and their cousin, fell into the ditch on their way to home from school, said police sources. No one noticed it as there is no human habitation in the area though their parents were searching for them since May 19 evening. The bodies were found floating in the ditch on May 20 morning. The bodies were sent to Sadar Hospital, Katihar, for post-mortem.
