Motihari: Three members of family inluding a nine year boy and two girls of village Khodiapakad under Devapur panchayat in East Champaran district drowned in river Bagmati when they went there to take bath on the occasion of Jitiya Parv. The three, who drowned in the river, were identified as Bade Babu, 9, Babita, 22, and Rupam, 19, all children of Shivpujan Raut, an advocate. Circle Officer, Patahi, Vinay Kumar, SHO, Pachpakri police station Sunil Kumar and Patahi police station incharge Narendra Kumar were trying to fish out the bodies by using the services of divers and local boatmen. Raut had gone to Patna when the incident took place.
