Three die while repairing a motorpump in well in Kaimur

Bhabhua: Three persons died while three others fell unconscious while repairing a motorpump in a well on August 16 evening at village Badaki Devkali under Mohania police station in Kaimur district. Police brought the bodies of all the three persons to  Bhabua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the unconscious persons to the sub-divisional hospital at Mohania. The doctor there referred of them to Varanasi in a precarious condition.

SHO, Mohania police station, said that Yamuna Kushwaha, Dhananjay Kushwaha and Chunmun Rajbhar went into a well at Devkuli village under Mohania police station on August 16 evening one by one to repair a motor pump only not to return. At this, three other persons: Shyam Sundar, Rameshwar Singh and Pintu Rai also tried to enter the well but they too fell unconscious. The SHO said the persons who entered the well died after inhaling some poisonous gas emitting from the well.
