Three bike lifters arrested in Bagaha, four bikes seized

Bagaha : A joint team of Valmikinagar and Laukaria police stations led by Valmikinagar SHO Bhagat Lal Mandal and Laukaria SHO Sunil Kumar on December 9 night busted a gang of motorbike lifters gang by arresting three bike lifters with four bikes.

Bagaha SP  Shankar Jha on Saturday said that Binod Kumar Sao of Tanki bazar, Munna Patel of Hawai Adda and Rajkumar Pal of Kotaraha villages under Valmikinagar police station were arrested and four bikes recovered but one of the gang members of village Kadamahiya  under the same police station was absconding. The SP said that had police not acted swiftly, the bike lifters would have entered Nepal by crossing Gandak barrage at Valmikinagar. Police are investigating the case and identifying the owners of the four motorcycles, the SP said.
