Three arrested in Munger under Prohibition Act

Munger: Police on Thursday arrested three persons in Jamalpur Steel City area in Munger district under Prohibition Act. Police said two persons: Md Chand and Vicky were arrested near Jubilee well, Jamalpur, in a drunken state. On their revelation, police conducted raid at a place in sadar bazar allegedly belonging to a former Ward Councillor of Nagar Parishad, Jamalpur, Md Shamin and arrested him with a bottle of wine. Md Shamim was a wine dealer in the past and used to get wine from other places through a person, according to police. Police are now looking for the man who worked as an agent of  Md Shamim, sources said.
