Patna: Rajiv Nagar police in Patna arrested three persons including a self-proclaimed veterinarian from Magistrate Colony and Ramnagari locality in drunken state late on December 18 night.

Rajeev Nagar police station SHO Mritunjay Kumar said that acting on a tip off that some persons were boozing in Magistrate Colony, a police team reached there and arrested a self-proclaimed veterinary doctor Jaiprakash Singh and his associate Pintoo Singh from a lane. He said that after medical examination, it was found that both had taken liquor. Both the arrested persons were later sent to jail, he said adding that Jaiprakash created a scene after his arrest claiming that he is a Vet and tried to pressurize the cops to release him.

The SHO said that during investigation it was found that Jaiprakash holds diploma in Artificial Inseminisation from Patna Veterinary College. The SHO said that a police team also arrested one Ranjan Kumar Vishwakarma from Ramnagari locality in a drunken state on  December 18 night. He was also sent to jail, the SHO added.
