Patna: Three IAS officers of 1985 batch have been promoted to the rank of chief secretary.Their promotion will be effective from September 1.
According to a notification issued by general administration department, Shashishekhar Sharma, Advisor, State Planning Board, will become Director General of Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural development. Arun Kumar Singh will continue as Principal Secretary, Water resources development department with additional charge of Parliamentary affairs while Tripurari Shara, Principal Secretary, Minor Irrigation, has been promoted as chairman-cum-member, Board of Revenue.
Sudhir Kumar, IAS ( 1988 batch), who is Principal Secretary, Agriculture department, has been given additional charge of Minor irrigation department.
