Thief thrashed to death at Bhojpur village

Ara : Villagers thrashed a thief to death at village Rupchakia under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district the wee hour on May 5, 2018. Later, police seized the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Villagers said that they were spending sleepless nights as thieves had become very active in the area and even police remained indifferent despite several complaints. So they formed a team whose members remaied awake during. On May 4 midnight about half a dozen thieves entered the village. The villagers caught one of them and thrashed him to death.
