Ara : The Telangana CID team on December 28 morning reached the Photostat shop located near Ara Block Office under Nawada police station from where Mithlesh Singh had allegedly got papers of Telangana medical entrance exam, and recorded the  statement of its owner.

During interrogation, Mithilesh Kumar Singh, an accused in the case, had disclosed before the Telangana CID at Hyderabad hethat he got the Xerox 0copies of medical entrance examination question papers at Ara from a Photostat shop at  Ara. After that the SP,  CID, Telangana, sent a team led by Inspector Ajay Kumar Reddy to Ara to arrest the owner of the Photostat hop. The CID team reached Ara for othe second time on December 26, 2016, and tried to reach the Photostat shop. After much effort, the team succeeded stand located the shop.

Initially, the shopkeeper refused to say anything on the pretext that much time has lapsed and so he did not remember anything but when the CID showed the photograph of Mithilesh Singh, the shop owner recognized him and said that the had come to his shop for the Xerox copies of some question papers.

Earlier, the CID had visited Bhojpur district on December 23, 2016, and had conducted raid at Narahi village under Chandi police station and arrested Mithilesh Kumar Singh alias Babar, son of Lalit Singh of Pasaru village under Charpokhari police station, where he had taken shelter at the house of a police sub-inspector and his uncle (Fufa), Ramakant Singh, and took him to Hyderabad.

Mithilesh had leaked papers of medical entrance examination at Telangana in June this year. He is said to be a member of an inter-state gang involved in leaking question papers of various examinations. Rajasthan police had arrested Mithilesh Kumar Singh from Narahi village under Chandi police station in 2014 in connection with leakage of a Rajasthan Public Service Commission exam along with a luxurious four- wheeler from the house of his Fufa and had sent him to jail but after his release from the jail, he once again became active.
