Ara : A named FIR was lodged with Women’s police station, Ara, on March 17, 2019, against three youth for allegedly outraging modesty of a girl and thrashing her father.
SHO, Women’s police station, Madhuri Kumari said that the three youth entered a house after jumping off a wall under Ara Muffasil police station area, tied mouth of a teenage girl, and outraged her modesty. When she protested, they thrashed her. Hearing the cry of the girl, when her father reached there, the miscreants also thrashed and injured him and left the spot threatening them with dire consequences.
The girl along with her father came to the Women’s police station on March 17 and lodged a named FIR against three youth of the area. The SHO said that all the three youth were absconding but police are conducting raids to arrest them. Police also brought the girl to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination.
