Buxar : Modesty of teenage girl was outraged at village Koransarai under Koransarai police station in Buxar district on September 17, 2018, night, allegedly by one Chandan Gupta of the same village. After committing the crime, the youth dropped the girl near her village and escaped. A named FIR has been lodged with Women police station against one Chandan Gupta but the accused is yet to be arrested.
Police brought the girl over to Sadar Hospital, Buxar, for medical examination and will produce her before the court to get her statement registered under Section 164 of CrPC.
SHO, Women police station, Buxar, Kanchan Kumari, said that Chandan Gupta of village Koransarai forcibly kidnapped a girl of the same village from a temple of the village when she had gone there along with her friend for worship on September 17, 2018, late evening, took her to a secluded place and outraged her modesty. Later, he dropped the girl near her village and escaped. Her friend informed the family members of the girl about the incident.
The girl on her return narrated her ordeal to her family members. A named FIR was lodged with Women police station on the statement of the girl.
