Teenage girl commits suicide

Buxar : A teenage girl committed suicide at South Tola of Dumaria village under Dumaria police station in Buxar district on January 24 morning. Later, police brought the body to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO, Dumaria police station, Subodh Kumar said that Rani, 16, daughter of Nanhak Ram of South Tola of Dumaria village tied a knot around her neck and hanged herself from the ceiling of her room on Tuesday morning. When she did not come out of her room, her family member went to wake her up but the door of the room was closed from inside. They knocked the door but no one replied. They smelt rat and broke open the door and found the girl hanging from the ceiling. He said that the girl was suffering from depression.
