Ara : A teenage girl committed suicide by consuming poison at village Hasanpura under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district on April 28, 2019. The reason behind the suicide is still to be ascertained. The deceased was identified as Kajal Kumari daughter of Sujit Kumar Ram.
Family sources said that all the family members had gone to the field for harvesting in the morning when she consumed poison. As the family members came to know about her condition, they rushed her to Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctors referred her to Patna Medical College and Hospital in view of her critical condition. She breathed her last on way to Patna. Later, her family members took the body to Hasanpura without post-mortem.
