Patna :  The techno – cultural fest of National Institute of Technology, Patna  (NITP), kicked off on January 22 with 3,500 delegates participating in it. The day saw overwhelming presence of students on the tennis court.

The inaugural ceremony was followed by series of events of all fourteen clubs of techno – cultural society. A workshop was arranged by department of Architecture for developing software skills of revit software at CWRS building of NITP. Mech-a-rush (pen and paper round) event of Mechanical department was also held at the same building while Robotics (round -1) was also held at the SAC building. The other events held on the day included Cryptic (pen and paper ) round, Smash – d – Bug (pen and paper) round , machinist (pen and paper round).

Arvind Pandey, Director, Bihar state sport authority, who was the chief guest, delivered lecture on `Intellectual awareness of youth’. The cultural events included Stick the sticks, (Avlokan) GEEK-O-BRAIN, Parliamentary debate Prelims, Raaga Solo + Singing battle, and Cine Satrangi. The Parliamentary debate saw huge participation from colleges like BN College and BIT Patna.
