Teacher kidnaps girl from Buxar village to marry her

Buxar : In a bizarre incident, a teacher kidnapped his student with a view to marry her on  May 11, 2017, evening at village Rahathua under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district. A named FIR has been lodged with Brahmpur police station on the statement of Shivji Yadav against three persons including the teacher but the police has neither been able to arrest the the kidnappers nor recover the girl so far.

SHO, Brahmpur police station, Dayanand Singh, said that Shashikant Mahto, son of Radheshyam Mahto, gave tution to the 16 year old girl at her residence at village Rahathua under Brahmpur police station and both fell in love. On May 1, the girl along with the mother of Shashikant  Mahto went to attend call of nature but did not return. When she did not return, the family members of the girl went to Radheshayam Mahto to inquire about the girl where the mother of Shashikant Mahto informed that her son Shashikant Mahto had taken her to some place to marry her, the SHO said.
