Teacher, father arrested on kidnapping charge at Ara

Ara : Bhojpur police arrested a teacher Bittu Kumar Srivastaa alias Sanjay Shankar Srivastava and his father Trimurti Srivastava from Hari Ji Ke Hata under Nawada police station, Ara, on March 6, 2018, in connection with kidnapping of a girl. Police also recovered the girl from their house and produced her before the court to get her statement recorded under section 164 Cr PC. Police also brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination.

SHO, Ara Muffassil Police Station, Srikant Paswan said that the girl, a native of village  Ratanpur under Ara Muffassil police station, used to come for tution to Sanjay Shankar Srivastava at Ara. She and her teacher fell in love with each other. About a fortnight ago, the girl came for tuition but did not return to home. Her family members searched for her everywhere and when they failed tolocate her, an FIR was lodged with Ara Muffassil police station regarding her disappearance on March 3, 2018.

The SHO said that Sanjay Shankar Srivastava and Arti Kumari tied  nuptial knot and the girl also confirmed it and showed her willingness to live with her husband.
