Woman burnt to death at Bhojpur village for bike

Ara : A married woman Priya Kumari alias Anjali, 22, was set ablaze for a motorcycle at village Khesarihia under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district on March 6, 2018. Her in-laws admitted her to Ara Sadar Hospital but later left her in a lurch. In the meantime, her parents came and took her to Patna Medical College and Hospital PMCH) but she succumbed to her injuries on way to PMCH. Later, the father of the deceased lodged a named FIR with Koelwar police station against her in-laws charging them with killings his daughter for a motorcycle.

Priya Kumari alias Anjali, daughter of Sahendra Prasad of village Khaptaha under Jagdishpur police station in BHojpur district, was married to Hadish Prasad of village Khesarhia under Koelwar police station in 2017 but on March 6 she sustained serious burn injuries under mysterious circumstances. Her in-laws admitted her to Ara Sadar hospital but the doctors advised them to take her to Patna. Hearing this, they fled away from the hospital leaving the injured Priya behind in the burn ward of the hospital.
