Patna : World No 1 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Tai Tzu ing, 24, Taiwan, beat World No 5 Chen Yufei, 20, China, in the semi-finals of BWF French Open tournament at Paris, France, past October 27, 2018, midnight.
Ying beat Yufei in a three game thriller 18-21, 21-12, 21-14 in 60 minutes in the semi-finals to enter the final. Yufei won the first game but Ying rallied to win the second game. The third set witnessed a very close contest. Ying now lead Yufei 11-10 head to head.
