SVU registers DA case against DIG ( Prisons)

Patna : The Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) on May 5, 2017, registered a DA case against DIG ( Administration), Prisons and Correctional Services, Shivendra Priyadarshi , for allegedly amassing assets disprortionate to his known source of income. DSP, SVU, B K Das, has been entrusted with the investigation of the case.

SUU sources said that Prasad is in possession of assets worth over Rs 1.2 crore either in his own name or in the name of his wife Ruby Priyadarshi, a housewife which was Rs 58.62 lakh disproportionate to his known source of income. Shivendra Priyadarshi had joined service in 1993. SVU sleuths also carried out search of three premises of Shivendra, sources added.
