Patna : A 1987 batch IAS officer and Principal Secretary, Home Department, Bihar, Amir Subhani, was on July 21, 2017, promoted to the Apex Scale of Rs 2.25 lakh in the rank of Chief Secretary. The post of Principal Secretary, Home Department, will remain upgraded to Apex Scale till Subhani holds this post. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification to this effect on July 21 itself.
Subhani also holds the additional charge of Principal Secretary, General Admnistration Department (GAD), and Principal Secretary, Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department, Principal Secretary, Public Grievances, and Mission Director, Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission Society.
