Student shot dead, body found under Naubatpur PS, Patna

Patna : Body of a student Rohit Kumar was recovered near village Sona under Naubatpur police station in Patna district on September 21, 2018. Police said that Rohit, a resident of village Jeenpura under Bihta police station in Patna district, was staying and studying in Phulwarisharif locality. He was also trying for some job.
The villagers saw his body near village Sona village on September 21 morning and informed Naubatpur police about it. On getting information, the local police reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy. A written
complaint has been lodged by the police station concerned onthe statement of victim’s parents.
If police sources are to be believed, Rohit Kumar was called by some of his acquaintances who later they shot him dead and dumped his body in an agricultural field at village Sona. He was the only son of his parents as his sister had died last year due to electrocution.
Patna SSP Manu Maharaj has constituted a police team headed by DSP, Phulwarisharif, Ramakant Prasad, to arrest the killers. The SSP said that police would soon arrest the criminals involved in the murder.
