Muzaffarpur  : A Special Task Force (STF) team arrested within 12 hours three of the six bike borne criminals involved in loot of Rs 16.71 lakh cash from Donama Branch of Bandhan Bank under Sakara Police station (PS) in Muzaffarpur District in North Bihar in broad daylight at gun point on January 8, 2021, from Kankarbagh locality in Patna after mid-night the same day and recovered the looted cash.
The STF also seized 3 pistol  and 6 live cartridges  from their possession.

According to police,  the three arrested  criminals identified as Nitish Kumar  of Bhagalpur, Rahul Kumar of Begusarai, and  Sudhir Sharma of Samastipur  District, are being quizzed. ADG (Operation), Bihar, Sushil M Khopde confirmed the arrest of three criminals and recovery of cash looted from Donama Branch of Bandhan Bank in Muzaffarpur District.  It may be mentioned here that on January 8, 2021, 6 criminals riding two bikes  had looted  cash Rs 16.71 lakh from Donama Branch of Bandhan bank  under Sakara PS after making the Bank Manager and employees captive at gun point.

According to police ,the STF, on a tip off,  followed the criminals and  arrested three of them  in Kankarbagh locality of Patna at
around 1 am in the night. The STF  recovered two bags containing looted cash from two  houses in Kankarbag locality on their confession. The arrest of  three criminals  and recovery of looted cash  by STF is a being seen here as big achievement of  Muzaffarpur police.
