Sitamarhi: An SSB team led by Inspector Singlai Robin seized 1,620 bottles of Nepali liquor and arrested two persons besides seizing an SUV near village Larakwa on Indo-Nepal border post under Kanhauli police station in Sitamarhi district on June 14, 2017, morning.
The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Vikas Kumar, a resident of village Phulkaha, and Md. Shahid, a native of village Mehsaul. The liquor was being brought over from Malangwa, Nepal, and its destination was Sitamarhi town, said the SSB commandant Navin Kumar adding the seized liquor, SUV and arrested persons were handed over to Excise department officials.
