Srikanth slips to World No 14 in BWF Rankings, Praneeth remains World No 11

Patna : Kidambi Srikanth, India, has slipped two places to be ranked World No 14 with 52,110 points in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings released on January 21, 2020. B Sai Praneeth, India, though remains static at World No 11 with 55,970 points. Parupalli Kashyap, India,  remains World No 25 with 42,940 points.

H S Prannoy, India, is static at World No 27 with 41,135 points while Sourabh Verma, India, remains World No 28 with 39,669 points. Sourabh’s younger brother Sameer Verma remains World No 29 with 38,319 points. Lakshya Sen, India, is static at World No 30 with 37,420 points. Subhankar Dey, India, has slipped 1 place to be ranked World No 46 with 31,180 points.

Two-time World Champion Kento Momota, Japan, remains World No 1 with 1,11,918 points while Chou Tien Chen, Chinese Taipei, is World No 2 with 80,548 points. Viktor Axelsen, Denmark, the 2017 World Champion, has jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 3 with 77,168 points. Reigning Olympic Champion Chen Long, China, has jumped 1 position and ranked World No 4 with 76,880 points.

Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Indonesia, has jumped 2 places to be ranked World No 5 with 76,722 points after winning the Indonesia Masters title on January 19, 2020. But, Ander Antonsen, Denmark, has slipped 3 places to be ranked World No 6 with 76,200 points. Asian Games Champion Jonatan Christie, Indonesia, has slipped 1 place to be ranked World  No 7 with 73,538 points. But, Shi Yu Qi, China,  has jumped 1 position and is ranked World No 8 with 65,961 points.
