Patna : World Number 2 Badminton player Kidambi Srikanth, 24, India, won his fourth Super Series title in 2017 by winning the Yonex French Open Super final comfortably defeating qualifier Kenta Nishimota, 23, of Japan 21-14, 21- 13 at Stade Pierre de Coubertin, Paris, on October 29, 2017, evening (IST). Nishimota is ranked 4oth in Badminton World Federation rankings.
Srikanth had earlier won Indonesia, Australian and Denmark Super Series Badminton touraments in 2017. He was playing his fifth Super Series final of the year. He had lost in the final of Singapore Super Series in April 2017 to B Sai Praneeth of India.
