Patna : World No 6 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Kidambi Srikanth, India, entered the 3rd round of BWF World Championship at Nanjing, China, on August 1, 2018, defeating Pablo Abian, Spain.
Srikanth, the 5th seed, beat World No 48 Pablo Abian, 33, a tough three-set encounter 21-15, 12-21, 21-14 in 62 minutes to enter the pre-quartersfinals of the World Championship 2018 at Nanjing Olympics Sports Centre.
