Patna : World No 6 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Kidambi Srikanth beat compatriot and World 23 Sameer Verma, 23, in a seesaw battle to enter the semi-finals of Denmark Open badminton tournament after midnight on October 19, 2018. Srikanth beat Verma in a three-game thriller at Odense, Denmark, 22-20, 19-21, 23-21 in the quarter-finals in 78 minutes.
