Patna : Sri Lanka (SL) were reduced to 67/6 in 21 overs in their 2nd innings at lunch on Day 4 in 2nd test against England at Galle International Stadium, Galle, SL, on January 25, 2021, with spinner Jack Leach and Dominic Bess taking three wickets each. Sri Lanka are leading by only 104 runs with only 4 wickets in hand.

SL openers : Kusal Perera (14) and Lahiru Thirimanne( 13), fell to spinner Jack Leach. Oshada Fernando fell to Dom Bess for 3. Angelo Mathews also fell to Bess for 5. Captain Dinesh Chandimal fell to Jack Leach for 9 while Niroshan Dickwella (wk) fell to Bess for 7. Dom Bess has taken 3/22 while Leach has taken 3/27.

Earlier, England were all out for 344 in their first innings adding just 5 runs to their overnight score. SL had scored 381 in their first innings with all-rounder Angelo Mathews scoring 110.
