Patna : Sri Lanka (SL) were 136/4 in their second innings at lunch against West Indies (WI) on day 4 of the second cricket test at Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia, on June 17, 2018, Kusal Mendis batting on 53 with 6 fours and captain Dinesh Chandimal batting on 27. Sri Lanka, who had made 253 runs in their first innings, lead by 89 runs.

West Indies fast bowler Shannon Gabriel had taken 3/22 in 12 overs while Kemar Roach had taken 1/34 in 8 overs.

Earlier, West Indies were all out for 300 in 100.3 over  in their first innings with opener Devon Smith scoring 61, Roston Chase 41, and wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich 55 runs. Kieran Powell made 27.

For Sri Lanka, fast medium bowler Chandradasa Brahmmana Ralalage Lahiru Sudesh Kumara, 21,  took 4/86 while medium fast bowler Kasun Rajitha, 25, took 3/49 and Suranga Lakmal 2/50 wickets.
