Patna : Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) scored a competitive 174/7 in 20 overs against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL Qualfier 2 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on May 25, 2018, night, riding on a 10 ball unbeaten 34 with 4 sixes and 2 fours by leg spinner Rashid Khan, 19, Afghanistan, and a 56 run partnership for the first wicket between Shikhar Dhawan and Wriddhiman Saha. In reply,KKR were 19/0 in 2 overs.

Dhawan scored 34 in 24 ball with 4 fours and a six while Saha scored 35 in 27 ball with  5 fours. Allrounder Shakib Al Hasan scored 28 in 24 ball with 4 fours while Deepak Hoodamade 19 hitting a six. SRH captain Kane Williamson and allrounder Yusuf Pathan were out for 3 each. Carlos Brathwaite made 8 while Bhuvaneshwar Kumar remained not out on 5.

For KKR, Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav took 2/29 in 4 overs while Sunil Narine took 1/24 in 4 overs. Piyush Chawla took 1/22 in 3 overs while fast bowler Shivam Mavi took 1/33 in 4 overs. Brathwaite and Shakib Al Hasan were run out.

KKR pacer Prasidh Krishna leaked 56 runs in his 4 overs without getting any wicket. Prasidh gave 24 runs in 20th over. Rashid Khan hit him for 2 sixes and a four in the 20th over. Rashid Khan had also hit Shivam Mavi for 2 sixes in the 19th over bowled by him.  KKR had won the toss but opted to bowl.
