Patna : Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) could score a modest 160/8 in 20 overs only against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 45th match of IPL-12 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan, due to superb spell of fast bowling by Oshane Thomas, Varun Aaron, and Jayadev Unadkat and an equally impressive spell of spin bowling by Shreyas Gopal. Thomas took 2/28, Aaron 2/36, Unadkat 2/26 while Gopal took 2/30. RR had won the toss but opted to bowl.
Manish Pandey top scored for SRH with 61 in 36 balls hitting 9 fours while opener David Warner scored 37 in 32 balls without hitting any four or six. SRH captain Kane Williamson fell to spinner Shreyas Gopal for 13 while Vijay Shankar fell to Varun Aaron for 8. Shakib Al Hasan fell to Jayadev Unadkat for 9. Deepak Hooda also fell to Unadkat for a duck. Wriddhiman Saha (wk) fell to Oshane Thomas for 5. Spinner Rashid Khan remained unbeaten on 17 in 8 balls hitting a four and a six.
