Patna : Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by a humiliating 10 wickets in the 56th match of IPL 2020 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, UAE, on November 3, 2020, late night, with openers David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha scoring unbeaten 85 and 58 runs respectively.

Replying to MI’s 149/8 in 20 overs, SRH scored 151/0 in 17.1 overs to jump to 3rd spot on the points table with 14 points ahead of RCB also with 14 points but lower net run rate (NRR).  SRH had won the toss and opted to bowl.

Warner scored 85 runs in 58 balls with 10 fours and 1 six while Saha scored 58 runs in 45 balls with 7 fours and 1 six. SRH have defeated top three team of IPL 2020 DC, RCB, and MI consecutively. For MI, all-rounder Keiron Pollard scored 41 runs in 25 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes while Suryakumar Yadav scored 36 and Ishan Kishan 33. MI captain Rohit Sharma said that it was their worst performance of the season.

It was MI’s 5th defeat in 14 matches and they 18 points. For DRH, it was their 7th win in 14 matches and they have now 14 points. KKR has also 14 points and are 5th on points table.
