Electing to bat first after winning the toss, DD had scored 163/5 in 20 overs with opener Prithvi Shaw scoring 65 in 36 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. SRH scored 164/3 in 19.5 overs.
SRH opener Alex Hales, England, made 45 in 31 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes while his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan made 33 in 20 balls with 2 fours and a six.
