Patna : A K Tirki, divisional commercial manager ( DCM ) of Sonepur division of East Central Railway (ECR), was arrested by Hajipur GRP in Vaishali district following a complaint lodged by an RPF sub-inspector Ravi Rashmi about the alleged misbehaviour with her by him at the railway retiring room at Hajipur station on Monday night. Rashmi alleged Tirki was under the influence of liquor when he misbehaved with her in the retiring room . Hajipur GRP acted swiftly and took Tirki under custody. Meanwhile , expressing shock over the incident , railways has ordered an inquiry into the matter, sources said .
In another incident, a passenger travelling by Capital Express sustained bullet injuryBullet Injury: when he resisted a loot bid by a few miscreants in the coach of the train . The incident occurred near Karauta station under Danapur division of ECR on Tuesday morning.The injured was rushed to the PMCH . His condition was stated to be stable. An FIR has been lodged with Rajendra Nagar GRP in this connection but no arrest has been made so far in this connection. Patna SRP Jitendra Mishra, who rushed to the place of occurrence, is personally investigating the matter, sources said .
