Ara: The special treatment given to former Finance Officer (VKSU), Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, Shivanandan Sahay at the LLB  semester 4 examination on Thursday at Mahanth Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalay (MMMM), Ara, centre has rocked the university.

Shivnandan Sahay was taking LLB semester IV examination at the MMMM centre and that too without permission of the university. He was allotted seat by Principal MMMM, Kamini Sinha, in the staff room of the college while other examinees were allotted seats in the classroom. The matter came to light when an examinee made a video of Sahay taking examination in the staff room separately and it went viral in the social media. Immediately student leaders complained the university and college administrations.  The Principal, in view of the gravity of the situation, requested Sahay to sit with other examinees. On complain, VKSU administration sent a flying squad to look into the matter.

Registrar, VKSU, Manoj Kumar said that Sahay was taking examination without permission from the university officials and had been asked ta show cause on September 24, 2016, but he was yet to reply to it. Vice-Chancellor, VKSU, Leela Chand Sah said that he had informed the Chancellor about it. He said an inquiry will be held into the special treatment given to Sahay at the examination.
