Social activists at Saharsa launch agitation to protest dilapidated condition of roads

Saharsa : Social activists of Saharsa on August 27, 2019, launched a massive agitation to draw the State Government’s attention towards the dilapidated condition of roads including the NH 107 main road linking Saharsa and Purnia in North Bihar.

All the Saharsa traders closed their business establishments to join the agitation by coming on the streets. The protesters blocked all the Chowks and rounabouts at Saharsa.

The big potholes on the roads have become a cause of concern for the people particularly during monsoon. Saharsa town witnessed a spontaneous bandh on August 27 with traders raising slogans against the government.
