Hajipur/ Siwan: Over half a dozen passengers sustained injuries when the bus carrying them overturned near village Ismailpur under Biddupur police station in Vaishali district. Locals said that it seems that the driver lost control over the vehicle and it overturned and skidded to some distance. The injured persons were treated at local hospital.
In another incident, two trucks collided head-on on Siwan-Chhapra main road under Daraundha police station in Siwan district paralysing the movement of vehicles on the road. Drivers and cleaners of both vehicles escaped from there after the incident. Though the locals blocked the main road for sometimes, Daraundha police reached the spot and cleared the road blockade.
