Patna: Heavy rains in the catchment areas of river Falgu has disrupted normal life in Gaya and Jeshanabad districts. Train services between Patna-Gaya and Gaya-Mughalsarai routes were badly affected due to this. Low lying areas of Gaya town have been waterlogged and Sadar Hospital too was flooded with OutPatients department (OPD) and different wards Inder knee deep water.
in Jehanabad town, Makhdumpur and Tehta localities are the worst affected.Water entered the power transmission centre and movement o vehicles on Jehanabad-Arwal highway has been hit as flood waters overtopped the road.
The state capital Patna also experienced heavy rains since late Tuesday night putting several colonies under water. Patna junction roundabout is the worst hit as rain water could not be drained out.
