Arun Lata Sharma
Sitamarhi : Gulab Devi of village Dumharpatti under Pupri Sub-Division in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar, on October 19, 2020, donated 0.52 decimal land worth Rs 30 lakh for the construction of a government hospital at her village. The villagers and her natives have thanked her for her social work.
Gulab Devi’s husband Capt Dr Chandeshwar Chaudhary too had donated a piece of land for opening a school at the village. Capt. Chaudhary had fought the Indo-Chinese war. On his return from army, he had worked as lecturer in Sociology for a few years at MKS College, Chandauna, under LN Mithila university. The couple have five daughters. Capt. Chaudhary died in the year 2014.
