Sitamarhi : A Sitamarhi SIT team recently arrested two notorious criminals Rakesh Yadav and Sonu Rock from Gorakhpur town’s Khorabagh area with the help of UP police. Both the criminals were carrying cash rewards on their heads. They are natives of Sitamarhi district. On their revelations, their three accomplices : Saroj Rai, Suraj Jha, and Abhishek Kumar Singh, were arrested on September 26, 2018, in Sitamarhi district.
According to Sitamarhi SP Vikas Burman, all the 5 arrested criminals were are wanted in connection with several cases of heinous crimes in different districts of North Bihar including Sitamarhi. They were allegedly involved in a recent incident of cash loot from an LPG dealer’s godown at Riga, Sitamarhi. Their other members of the gang too would be arrested soon, the SP added.
